About Mrs. Robins
Hello! My name is Ariel Robins and I teach General Music and Chorus at Findley Oaks Elementary in Johns Creek, Georgia. I am in my eleventh year at Findley Oaks and my twelfth year teaching. I earned my Masters in Instructional Technology from Kennesaw State University, and I earned my undergraduate degree in Music Education from the University of Georgia - GO DAWGS! While at UGA, I was a member of the Redcoat Marching Band, Women's Glee Club, Trombone Choir, Steel Drum Band, and Wind Symphony. I even got to go on tour in China with the Redcoats and Europe with the Chorus! I loved having so many opportunities to make music. Of course, I still enjoy making music! At home I have a piano, guitar, and ukulele. I love learning to play new instruments. However, my favorite way to make music is with my students! My mission as a music educator is to teach my students to love music as much as I do. Thank you for visiting my site!
About Mrs. LeSaicherre
Hello! My name is Ellen LeSaicherre and I am so excited to be teaching general music at Findley Oaks Elementary this year. This is my tenth year of teaching and my second year at Findley Oaks. In addition to Fulton County Schools, I have taught music in Louisiana and Gwinnett County, Georgia. I grew up in Peachtree Corners and attended Norcross High School, and have always wanted to teach close to home. After high school I moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to earn my bachelors degree in music education at Louisiana State University. Geaux Tigers! My primary instrument is the bassoon and I spent much of my time at LSU playing in various ensembles, and also played the saxophone in the Tiger Band. After graduating from LSU, I earned my masters degree in music from Kent State University. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my husband, Michael, and our two dogs Weasley and Myrtle. I cannot wait to see the amazing talents of my students and hope to have an awesome year filled with singing, dancing, and creating!
