What a crazy week! On Tuesday afternoon, Atlanta was hit with a snow storm that basically shut down the whole city. The good news is that Findley Oaks students and staff all got home safe and sound. School was canceled for the rest of the week due to the snow and ice. Crazy! But, as the saying goes, "The show must go on!" On Thursday, I braved the snowy streets to head down to Savannah for the annual Georgia Music Educators Association In-Service Conference. It is a huge 3-day meeting held every year for Music teachers throughout the to state get together and share their best ideas. I had a great time learning new games and activities for my students! Plus, check out who I ran into - my old pal, Mr. Quaver himself!! I was also fortunate enough to be a presenter this year. I presented with three other Fulton county music teachers about assessment, data, and differentiation in elementary music. Thank you to the many music teachers across Georgia who attended our session!
